iDry and Cure Unit

The iDry +Cure system was  used for less than a month.  It is their standard size – about 20’ long with an internal fan and heating coil, resulting in 13’ of space for drying product.  The unit comes with 360 drying trays (30”x16”x2”) and 15 tray dollies for rolling product into and out of the drying unit.

The iDry +Cure system is a vacuum unit that will dry product at a lower temperature, so as not to degrade the product.  Under a vacuum (less than atmospheric pressure), the required temperature to have liquid water evaporate is less.  This will then remove the moisture at a lower temperature.  The unit is also equipped with a heating coil if it is desired to cure the product.  The unit is equipped with a control system to automate the process.

The last time I checked on pricing it would cost $135,000 CDN to purchase the unit and all of the subject trays.  Asking price is $90,000 CDN, with the purchaser being responsible for loading and transporting the unit.

Please note that the existing unit is 240V, single phase – not the 480 V, 3 phase noted on the attached brochure.  Also, the pricing shown for the units are for the dryers only.  The trays are $30 each, resulting in a total price (for 375 trays) of $11,250.  All pricing on the brochure will be USD.
