Clean Room Construction

HVAC
- C1D1 ethanol detection sensors & C1D1 air flow sensors
- Positive pressure, temperature-controlled extraction and distillate processing rooms
- Alarm activated, automatic emergency air exchange that can cycle air in 30 seconds
- HEPA air filter that cleans air intake to the lab
Fire Safety
- Extraction and distillation room each contains 2 x C1D1 ethanol sensor (total of 4) that will detect unsafe level of ethanol triggering a ‘process stop’ that will:
- Signal alarm & stop all equipment
- Release all door locks
- Start emergency air exchange
- All building materials are fire resistant
- Integrated fire suppression system
- Each of the 3-rooms in the lab are equipped with integrated automatic fire suppression to meet or exceed AHJ standards
- Smoke detectors and manual pull stations are in each area
- Doors are all fire rated steel doors and are equipped with triggered automatic door closures
- Fire-rated sliding door separating extraction and distillation rooms
- All electrical transits are sealed
- Dampers are installed in HVAC system to reduce the spread of fire
- Mobile lab can contain up to 200 gal | 757 L of food-grade ethanol, in a closed loop system that takes the ethanol below its flashpoint
Security System
- Our security systems were developed in collaboration and guided by the world’s leading authorities, CannaNavigators Inc. (Hyde Advisory)
- The lab is equipped with a 24/7 alarm system for fire and break-in
- Five external cameras and seven internal C1D1 cameras (where applicable) saved locally and to cloud storage and viewable on two internal monitors
- Entry doors are locked both with electronic and manual door locks, plus two-factor authentication (2FA) including external pin-access
