Summary:

White Ash Group is currently recruiting a Retail Account Manager to join a leading cannabis engineering/manufacturing technology company.

About:

The successful hire will be responsible for managing retail clients (accounts) across Canada the USA. This role is perfect for someone that loves building and maintaining relationships, loves to travel and has a sales background, and wants to be part of an exciting dynamic team. You’ll own the complete lifecycle of the retailer network in North America – from fostering connections to strategically deciding when it’s time to innovate partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow retail channel revenue and profit by coaching and inspiring retail teams.
  • Develop cutting-edge sales strategies that align with our goals.
  • Embrace and suggest improvements to retail sales processes.
  • Demonstrate technical prowess and ensure network is up-to-speed.
  • Create long-term value through strategic growth opportunities.
  • Be the face of innovation with frequent travel to top accounts (150 days/year).
  • Learn and assist with order entry as a back-up to the order team.

Must Have:

  • 4+ years in account management role (cannabis, manufacturing, tech preferred)
  • Post-secondary education is a major plus, particularly in an engineering discipline.
  • Stellar communication skills, both oral and written.
  • A growth mindset, open to learning and embracing AI and technologies like ChatGPT.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drivers license and ability to travel

Compensation:

  • Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits + RRSP Matching

Travel:

  • 150 days out of the year after onboarding
