Summary:

White Ash Group is currently recruiting a Product Manager to manage entire product life cycles and launch new products into the Cannabis market. This role will act as the bridge between sales/marketing and research/development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product life cycle, aligning all stakeholders behind a specific vision
  • Build out product portfolio to maximize business profit under the company profile
  • Understand and represent user needs, monitoring the market and developing competitive analysis, prioritizing product features and capabilities to ensure the defined market position
  • Manage the Project Budget and Category P&L
  • Focal point of the project – recognized as a global point contact, driving progress and making key decisions on the project regarding time, specification, design and cost
  • Manage and implementing product, price, and new product launch strategy with the marketing department
  • Design product improvement plans and setting business value delivery milestones
  • Communicate cross-functionally and/or garnering stakeholder alignment
  • Escalate the right issues at the right time via an appropriate method. Understands when to form an ad-hoc cross team and set tactical meetings to escalate proposals with clear content and direction to the Chief Product Officer
  • Collaborates with, influences and supports the R&D and engineering teams, playing an active role in setting vision specifications and product requirements, and delivering to the range plan
  • Escalate the right issues at the right time via an appropriate method
  • Understands when to form an ad-hoc cross team and set tactical meetings to escalate proposals with clear content and direction to the Chief Product Officer
  • Support analysis of market competitors with the appropriate departments
  • Act as a bridge between customers, sales, and manufacturing teams
  • Research ways to improve existing products
  • Support marketing to conduct customer and market analyses to determine product roadmaps/blueprints to help ensure long term business value
  • Responsible for important commercial decisions that assist in enabling sales and marketing teams to deliver exceptional business value results. This includes creative direction and key claims influence direction regarding production engineering, critical quality and procurement strategy, manufacturing execution and supply chain planning
  • Anticipates risk and drives a culture of anticipating risk
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Understanding of cannabis market
  • Experience managing products (specifically cannabis products, focusing on Vapes)
  • Experience managing various project timelines at once
  • Experience working cross functionally
