Inventory Assistant

Summary:

You will support the Inventory Controller in monitoring and maintaining inventory of all cannabis products and cannabis related packaging at all stages of processing.

 Responsibilities:

  • Staging and preparing and tracking daily material for production activities
  • Performing weekly and quarterly cycle counts to reconcile the inventory count in SageX3
  • Operate within Cannabis Act regulations to ensure compliance of inventory procedures and reports
  • Ensure maintenance and organization of vault storage
  • Working with the shipping team to make sure counts are accurate
  • Support the controller in entering all shipments and receiving of cannabis into both inventory software and MS Office electronic inventory files; reconcile both inventory systems
  • Ensure all data reconciles daily to maintain inventory accuracy for records and reporting
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with all team members, service technicians and suppliers
  • Maintain all packaging inventory by completing physical warehouse counts by lot for all packaging material
  • Support the Supply chain team, including inventory, shipping, receiving, labels, and packaging as required
  • Other production activities as requested by your manager or supervisor

Experience / Education:

  • A Technical Diploma or a minimum of three (3) years work experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a teamwork environment
  • Experience in a manufacturing and processing environment an asset
  • Knowledge of Cannabis Act and Regulations an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Excellent leadership skills, problem solving skills and decision-making skills
  • Proficient with computers, Excel, etc.
  • Team oriented focus and coaching management style an asset
  • Extremely organized and high attention to detail
  • High work ethic standards a must
