BC Sales Manager

Summary:

As the BC Sales Manager, you will be the face of the brand in BC, engaging with budtenders and consumers alike. You will be responsible for helping implement the retail strategy, executing our B2B and B2C initiatives. In this role you will build relationships with key retail stores, organize in-store activations, and ensure our brand position and promise is clearly communicated to all stakeholders. Spending most of your time in the field you will have the opportunity to be a key source of information of actionable retail insights.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail education program, through both budtender and consumer facing initiatives
  • Participate in sales meetings with the management team, and actively work to achieve monthly KPIs
  • Maintain a customer database on customer information, call activity, actions, follow ups and results on our CRM platform
  • Coordinate the development of all Trade Marketing assets
  • Monitor and assess brand health and competitive opportunities/ threats and proactively propose consumer and trade marketing strategies
  • Manage cross functional relationships, encouraging use of best practices, process improvement and clear and consistent communication
  • Build and maintain relationships with staff and managers
  • Execute budtender PK sessions, and consumer facing pop-ups
  • Ensure executional excellence and strict adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
  • Analyze the territory’s potential, track activity, and submit results reports regularly to management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company goals
  • Identify and target potential customers and markets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management

Must Have:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in a managerial role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field (preferred)
