Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Craft and implement effective sales strategies that align with the company’s goals and market opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships. Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and competitive landscape.
  • Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the sales team in achieving their sales targets. Provide training and feedback to team members.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain extensive knowledge of the products and their benefits. Educate customers and the sales team about product offerings.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with state, federal, and industry regulations.
  • Reporting: Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Must Have’s:

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis products, industry regulations, and the B2B market landscape.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian and international cannabis landscape and markets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and challenges.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
